This site was set up to honor Captain James Cook, the man who saw the whole world first. He traveled from his homeland of Great Britain to lands where few had gone before and brought home much for his country. One of the greatest things he did was live as a discoverer not an adventurer. For it is said that, "Any man can go to far reaches, but he can not be called an explorer until he has told and brought to others what he has seen."
